How to Get Rid of Belly Fat Before Your Wedding
With your wedding coming up, it is natural for you to want to look leaner and sexier for when the big day arrives. Your upcoming wedding is the perfect source of motivation to banish that troublesome belly fat once and for all! Three of the biggest contributors to unwanted belly fat are alcohol consumption, a sedentary lifestyle, and simple overeating, and each of these must be addressed. Here are 5 tips for successfully banishing that belly fat once and for all!
1) Modify your diet to make it low fat. All the exercise in the world isn’t going to help if you continue to gorge yourself on unhealthy foods. Primarily your diet should consist of high fiber fruits and vegetables, including apples, broccoli, and carrots. Look for meats that contain low fat proteins, like chicken breasts. You should eliminate fried foods, processed foods, and red meat from your diet.
2) Drink plenty of water! Water is necessary to eliminate toxins and wastes from the body, including the accumulation of fat in your midsection. When the liver, an important organ in the burning of fat, does not receive adequate amounts of water, it begins to function more slowly. Consequently, when the body cannot burn fat, it begins to store it. One of the first places in the body that fat begins to accumulate is the midsection.
3) Start by simply walking it out! Cardiovascular exercise is highly important when it comes to burning unnecessary calories. You do not have to run for miles to achieve the effects of cardiovascular exercise. Instead, try walking for approximately 30 minutes, 4-5 times a week. If you walk in the mornings, you will elevate your body’s metabolic rate for the entire day.
4) Do not skip meals! Many future brides think that they will burn additional calories simply by not eating. In reality, when you do not provide your body with adequate fuel, it begins to go into “starvation mode” and actually store the calories you do consume as fat. Basically, it achieves the opposite effect of what you are looking for.
5) Finally, abstain from alcohol consumption in the days leading up to your wedding. Most alcoholic drinks, with the exception of red wine, are full of empty calories and processed sugars, which your body automatically begins to store as fat. Furthermore, it causes a drop in your body’s metabolic rate, which means that your body will not burn calories as efficiently. For more great tips, check out bridal weight loss.
