Wedding Weight Loss Tips
Beat the craving
I give in a little. Throughout the day I will eat “healthy” snacks like grapes, carrots or apples. Then I will set aside a piece of chocolate or cookies to have, but that’s it. If I have eaten a large quantity of healthy food, then I won’t pig out on a bunch of junk food. I would have beat the craving and stay on track with my wedding weight loss goals.
Drink plenty of water!
Water is extremely important to weight loss. Water fills you up and keeps you hydrated. Sometime you think you are starving, but you’re really thirsty. I’m not saying replace food with water but drinking a large glass of water before your meal can prevent you from over eating. Especially, when you have to taste test your wedding cake and other food for your wedding. The cake alone can put on extra pounds for your wedding day.
Load up on healthy foods
Stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables. The day that you start your weight loss your refrigerator should be completely free of all junk food. Your wedding day can be extremely emotional and food can bring energy or weight gain. So, when the chaos starts take a deep breath visualize your weight loss achievement. Grab anything healthy from your kitchen and deal with that obstacle.
Work it out!
Grab your sneakers and go for a walk or some type of physical activity. Exercise is great for the mind and the body. If you are really stress out about the wedding take a kickboxing class or any type of high power aerobics to help clear your mind. The workout will help speed up your weight loss goals for the wedding.
Start a journal.
A wedding is one of the biggest days of your life. You should chronicle the events to that momentous day. You can always look back on that day and remember the journey in your own words. The journal will also keep you on your weight loss track for your wedding day.
