Don’t Wait Another Day – How to Lose Over 20 Pounds in Time for Your Wedding!
Looking fabulous in your wedding dress does not have to be a pipe dream, even if your wedding is quickly approaching. Some of these tips you will have heard of before, but others may be new to you. Either way, each of these tips will assist you in losing over 20 pounds just in time for your special day!
1) Make sure that you consume adequate amounts of water each day. Most fitness experts recommend that you drink 6-8, 8 ounce glasses of water. Water is essential for flusing potentially harmful toxins and fat byproducts from the body, but in order for water to be effective, you must avoid consuming caffeinated beverages, like soda and coffee.
2) Try substituting your normal midmorning or midafternoon snack with
peppered beef jerky. Beef jerky has a high content of protein, and the results of some medical studies have suggested that small amounts of spicy foods can jumpstart the metabolism, in addition to curbing your appetite.
3) Make sure that you receive the recommended 3-4 servings of raw fruits and vegetables each day. Fruits and vegetables have many vitamins and nutrients, but they will also kill your cravings for the foods that caused you to gain weigh in the first place.
4) Drink 1-3 cups of green tea day. Green tea is a natural stimulant, which
can be used to stimulate your metabolism when it comes to burning calories. It also serves as a nice alternative to drinking water all of the time. Green tea is also a healthier source of caffeine than coffee or other caffeinated beverages.
5) Limit the amount of carbohydrates you consume. This trick is particularly useful if you are running short on the amount of time that you have to lose weight. When you stop eating carbs, your body is forced to burn up the carbs that it has stored as fat. One pound of carbs has approximately 3-4 pounds of water attached to it, so when you burn one pound of carbs, you will be losing 5 pounds total.
6) Exercise in the mornings. When you exercise in the morning, it jumpstarts your metabolism, and it begins to burn calories at an accelerated rate. When your metabolism rate is elevated, you will burn more calories throughout the day performing even the simplest actions.
7) Walk for 10 minutes after you have eaten. Your body must burn
calories to digest food, and if you walk while your body is digesting food, you will be burning more calories. Plus, you will be able to add an additional 30 minutes of exercise into your daily routine. For more great tips, check out how to lose weight now.
